Shower Photos Posted

I’ve finally gotten around to posting the pictures from my shower… you can see them on our Baby Shower Photos Page.

Less than two weeks until my due date! I can’t believe we’re so close! She could come any day now. Waiting is the hardest!

Since she didn’t come this weekend, I had a bit of a to-do list for us to get done. None of these things NEEDED to get done, but I figured if she’s not here yet, we might as well be productive! I hope she comes soon though because I’m getting tired of these to-do lists I keep making – but I can’t help it, it’s how I’m nesting!!

This past week I started having Braxton Hicks contractions A LOT. I’ve had BH quite a bit over the past two months – usually I don’t even feel them until I go to bend over and realize my belly is as hard as a rock. Now though, they are still painless but because they are lasting a lot longer, it’s making moving and getting comfortable a little more complicated. The past few nights I’ve felt like I’ve had BH’s constantly while sleeping. Laying on my side is uncomfortable because it’s putting a little pressure on my belly – which is as hard as a rock. You try laying against a basketball and I think you might feel just as uncomfortable!

I’ve also been feeling quite a bit more exhausted! Working 40-hours a week is hard! I’ve decided that this week I’m going to not let myself work so hard at work. I’ve handed off all of my major tasks already – so I should be able to go in and support the testing we’re doing, but not run around like crazy like I normally do. We’ll see how it goes. Once I get there, it’s too hard to go slower, but I know if I don’t I’ll just wear myself out and I don’t want to be so worn out before labor – that’ll be hard work and I need my energy!!

Again, I don’t think I have much to complain about – this pregnancy has seemed very easy and not bad. I’m so thankful that it has flown by without much to complain about!

I guess we’ll see if we make it another week with her on the inside, or if she decides to grace us with her presence sooner than that!
