This weekend, Seth, Chamberlin and their baby girl, Janet, came to visit us! They are in Colorado for a family reunion, but stopped to visit with us for a few days before heading down south.
They got in late on Friday night, and Janet was very sleepy – though she was a trooper on their flights here! Saturday we hung out around Denver and then played the Wii at the house. Saturday night, we went to Fiddler’s Green for a Colorado Symphony 4th of July show. There were two sets of music followed by fireworks! We sat in the grass and got rained on a little bit, but not too much. Janet stayed up for the whole thing! Sunday morning Seth made some fantastic cinnamon rolls and we headed to church, then after lunch they headed to Colorado Springs to visit with some other friends. They have quite the trip ahead of them, but they’ll be back next weekend before they head back home to New York.
It was fun having Seth & Chamberlin around to hang out with because the last two times we’ve been together was at their wedding in Arizona and our wedding here, so this time it was just us and no crazy events! Janet was a blast to be around. Her birthday is in August, so she’s almost a year old…. we sure are having fun with kids that age lately 🙂
