Friday we planned on visiting quite a few wineries in the Sonoma & Napa Valley areas. We went to all of these wineries: Viansa, Plumpjack, Silver Oak, Sterling, Castello Di Amorosa, Cakebread, Niebaum-Coppola Rubicon Estate and Alpha Omega. We took lots of pictures at all of these places because it was so beautiful! We did some tastings – but certainly did not do tastings at all those places – but they were fun to visit! The best place was Sterling because there was an air-tram that took you over part of the property and then a cool tour of the place with information about wine-making. For dinner we went to a place called “Go Fish” – cute name huh?
Napa Valley was so fun and beautiful! It’s amazing how many miles and miles of vineyards there are out there!
Saturday morning we drove back to San Francisco, visited Ghirardelli Square and watched the waves on the west side before heading to the airport.
